MDW MURPH 2026: A Day to Honor Those Who Gave All
MDW MURPH 2026
A day to honor those who gave all.
May 25th, 2026 we hosted our 3rd annual MDW MURPH event supporting the Alpha Wave Project and Navy SEAL Foundation.
~100 people showed up to The Garage Gym Little Silver to break a sweat, spend time with one another, and leave better because they showed up.
Together we donated $4,800 to support active duty military, veterans, and their families.
Most importantly, we remembered the sacrifices of the brave men and women who gave their lives defending our freedom.
Guest of Honor
Before we got moving, Kyle Rodgers opened with a speech.
Kyle is a former Marine Special Operations Officer and co-founder of the Alpha Wave Project - a 501(c)(3) dedicated to reducing isolation and suicide among veterans and first responders through community-based, experience-driven healing.
He started with a story about his six year old daughter who asked why we have Memorial Day.
‘A day to remember the sacrifices of the brave men and women who gave their lives defending our freedom.’
Kyle talked about the importance of keeping these stories alive to ensure the names of the individuals never become just letters in stone etched on monuments around the country.
He then told us about his great friend, Mo Navas, and how he’s smiling from above knowing that 100 people woke up early to do something really hard in the MURPH workout.
Mo gave his life serving the United States of America.

MURPH
We do the "MURPH" workout to honor U.S. Navy SEAL Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2005.
1 mile run
100 pull ups
200 push ups
300 squats
1 mile run
Ron Worobel led us out on the first run and everyone tackled the workout at their own pace,
Whether you did the full work out in a weight vest or did a ½ MURPH modified with a resistance band for support - you gave your best.
The rest of the morning
While we were tackling MURPH - Eat Clean Bro was grilling burgers all morning, Lily (our in house face painter) had a line of kiddos patiently waiting to get their face painted, and we gave away a ton of product from friends at Reves Acai and Smoothie, Rhythm health labs, Slate Milk, Cozy Corner, and Outpost Run and Walk.
It was a really special day.
See a recap from the event here.
$4,800 raised
Each attendee donated to be a part of the day and 100% of all money raised from the event was donated.
Split between the Navy SEAL Foundation and the Alpha Wave Project, we want to extend a major thank you to everyone who made the day possible.
The Navy SEAL Foundation provides critical support programs for the Naval Special Warfare community - active duty SEALs, Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen, support personnel, and their families.
The Alpha Wave Project is dedicated to reducing isolation and suicide among veterans and first responders through community-based, experience-driven healing.
If you weren't able to make it and want to contribute, we encourage you to donate directly to both organizations.
